QUARRY CONSTRUCTION SITE - CONCRETE MIXER

TREAD
COMPOUND

The compounds for quarry construction site tires must allow the vehicle to achieve adequate performance for the type of service it is subjected to:

  • Primarily quarry use (more than 75% of the daily route), where the ultimate mechanical properties of the compound (break strength and elongation at break) are maximized to prevent tears caused by stones and rock protrusions.
  • Primarily road use, but with no more than 25% of the route in quarry/construction site. In this case, the tread compound characteristics must combine wear resistance typical of regional transport with exposure to harsh conditions in construction site tracks.
