Copolymers, chemically free of unsaturations, offer greater resistance to aging at high temperatures and to chemical agents in general, while terpolymers, in addition to providing excellent performance, are appreciated for their greater processing versatility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications<\/strong><br \/>\nVulcanized products made from ethylene-propylene copolymers or terpolymers are characterized by the following properties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent resistance to ozone and oxygen, both in static and dynamic conditions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent resistance to degradation due to atmospheric aging<\/li>\n<li>Good resistance to high temperatures (up to 150\u00b0C) both in dry and humid environments<\/li>\n<li>Good resistance to low temperatures (down to -55\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent dielectric properties<\/li>\n<li>Good resistance to various chemicals (organic and inorganic acids, alcohols, amines, antifreeze liquids, bleaching agents, detergents)<\/li>\n<li>High permeability to water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The fields of application therefore range from the transportation sector to electrical cables.
