\nWhile BR has the chemical structure of 1,4-cis-Polybutadiene, SBR is the styrene\/butadiene copolymer and is produced both in emulsion and in solution. Many grades of SBR are available on the market, differing in their styrene content (ranging from 23.5% to 45%) and oil extender content.<\/p>\n

Polymer Type<\/strong>
\nSBR and BR are commonly used blended together or with NR, combining the good mechanical properties of SBR with the excellent abrasion resistance of BR.<\/p>\n

Applications<\/strong>
