The key performance indicators for a seasonal summer tyre are mileage\u2014typically monitored by the user\u2014and wet grip, which is evaluated in terms of braking efficiency and traction.
For a retreaded tyre, there is no official homologation for wet braking, but tests can be carried out at certified organizations (such as T\u00dcV, IDIADA, etc.) following the testing procedures used for new tyres, in order to propose a performance level using the same criteria.
Eurorubber, in collaboration with new tyre manufacturers, has conducted several wet braking tests using different tread compounds. These tests have provided insights into the influence of various formulations and, most importantly, the role of the physical and mechanical properties of the components on overall performance (compound + retreading process), as well as the resulting classification (rank) according to the EU tyre labeling regulations (EU 1222\/2009 and 740\/2020).
We are therefore able to offer a range of compounds for different product segments (HP, STD, and TL), indicating their potential positioning in comparison with new tyres, including wet traction performance.<\/p>\n
